THE STRATEGY-LED PROCESS 

We’ll meet on Zoom to discuss your website vision and I’ll provide insights on how to make it come alive. If you’re writing your own content, you’ll get a document broken up into page sections with tips so you won’t be starting with a blank screen. Hooray!

You’ll share your branding files, photos and website content that’s been written by you or by a skilled copywriter.

I’ll design your draft homepage so you get a feel for how your brand elements will come to life. You’ll give feedback and suggestions (two design revisions are included). This is when the homepage will really start to pop!

We’ll research the best SEO keywords for your website to target and compile an SEO strategy. This includes expertly written page titles and descriptions as well as key placement of keywords while building your website.

Your website will be built using WordPress, so you can make content changes in the future. And don’t worry, it’ll be responsive and engaging on every device.

We’ll make the finishing touches to your new website and I’ll test it on all major internet browsers and devices. Then… it’s launch day. Your calming and professional psychology website will be live!

We’ll get together on Zoom for a one-hour website training session. You’ll also receive a recording of the session for your future reference. But also know I’m always available for support.

Some answers to your questions

Typically, a website will take 4-6 weeks to launch. At the start of the project, I’ll need your branding, photography and content ready to go to ensure we meet our timeframe.

We’ll be creating your website together. So there are a few things you’ll need to do during the project:

  • Have your branding, photography and content ready to go for our start date.
  • Be available for 2-3 Zoom calls at the start, middle and end of our project.
  • Provide timely feedback on the design, build and the prelaunch stages.

But don’t worry, you’ll have enough warning ahead of time for these things. We’ll use a project management tool (Trello – it’s free) so you can see where we’re up to during the project.

The cost depends on what you want it to be able to do and how many pages your website will be. You’ll get a custom quote after your discovery call.

Your website will include the design, the build on WordPress, SEO, Zoom meetings throughout the project and a one-hour training session on how to edit content into the future. Prices start at $4,500+GST for a 5-page website.

You’ll need to have these things ready to go:

  • Logo and branding – I’ll need all of the files your graphic designer prepared for you.
  • Brand clarity – You’re confident about your business values and purpose, and the services you offer.
  • Content – Either written by a copywriter or by you. If you’re writing your own content, I’ll get you started with a Google doc that’s laid out with sections and tips. I highly recommend working with a Copy Coach to give you that extra confidence boost. We can chat about this in our call.
