The Consult

We’ll meet on Zoom to discuss your website vision and I’ll provide insights on how to make it come alive. If you’re writing your own content, you’ll get a document broken up into page sections with tips so you won’t be starting with a blank screen. Hooray!

The Branding + Content + Photos

You’ll share your branding files, photos and website content that’s been written by you or by a skilled copywriter.

The Design

I’ll design your draft homepage so you get a feel for how your brand elements will come to life. You’ll give feedback and suggestions (two design revisions are included). This is when the homepage will really start to pop!

The Build

Your website will be built using WordPress, so you can make content changes in the future. And don’t worry, it’ll be responsive and engaging on every device.

The Launch

We’ll make the finishing touches to your new website and I’ll test it on all major internet browsers and devices. Then… it’s launch day. A toast to us!

The Training Session

We’ll get together on Zoom for a one-hour website training session. You’ll also get access to short video tutorials to help you make simple updates or changes. But also know I’m always available for support.

Some answers to your questions

How long does a website take to design, build and launch?

Typically, a website will take 4-6 weeks to launch. At the start of the project, I’ll need your branding, photography and content ready to go to ensure we meet our timeframe.

How much homework will I need to do?

We’ll be creating your website together. So there are a few things you’ll need to do during the project:

Have your branding, photography and content ready to go for our start date.
Be available for 2-3 Zoom calls at the start, middle and end of our project.
Provide timely feedback on the design, build and the prelaunch stages.

But don’t worry, you’ll have enough warning ahead of time for these things. We’ll use a project management tool (Trello – it’s free) so you can see where we’re up to during the project.

How much does a website cost?

The cost depends on what you want it to be able to do and how many pages your website will be. You’ll get a custom quote after your discovery call.

Your website will include the design, the build on WordPress, SEO, Zoom meetings throughout the project and a one-hour training session on how to edit content into the future. Prices start at $4,500+GST for a 5-page website.

Do you offer payment plans?

Absolutely. Here are a couple of scenarios:

What things do I need to have ready before we start?

You’ll need to have these things ready to go:

Logo and branding – I’ll need all of the files your graphic designer prepared for you.
Brand clarity – You’re confident about your business values and purpose, and the services you offer.
Content – Either written by a copywriter or by you. If you’re writing your own content, I’ll get you started with a Google doc that’s laid out with sections and tips. I highly recommend working with a Copy Coach to give you that extra confidence boost. We can chat about this in our call.

Do you offer website maintenance and website support after we launch?

Yes! I love working with clients on an ongoing basis. You’ll have the peace of mind that I’m in your corner, looking after your website in the background. Have a new service or product to add to your website? I can help with that too.

I'm not based in Melbourne. Can you still design my website for my small business?

Absolutely! I love working with small businesses all over Australia. In fact, most (if not all) of my client meetings are done on Zoom. And I’m always an email or phone call away.
